The Piper Saratoga IITC

This high performance six-seater and one of the most popular GA aircraft in the world. It is one of the most luxurious singles on the market, and along with a roomy interior, this can be considered one of the premium general aviation aircraft in use today. The II TC is the turbocharged version of the Saratoga,
which provides for a higher service ceiling, faster climb to that ceiling, and greater speed.

The Saratoga is provides improved for better cross-country capability. It can carry 1,100 pounds of people and cargo at a 187 Kts cruise speed from New York to St. Louis without stopping for fuel. This makes it ideal for business travel, leisure flying, or light cargo operations.

The Saratoga's normal cruise setting requires 30 inches of manifold pressure and a relatively quiet 2,300 rpm. Many pilots have found the Saratoga line to be mong the most stable, forgiving, and docile big singles on the market. Its stall characteristics are benign, the airplane has great lateral stability, and it
rides turbulence in an admirable fashion.

The Saratoga appeared in 1980, as a fixed-gear, six-seat single based on the earlier PA-32 Cherokee Six and Lance models. It differed from them in its longer, semi-tapered wing (derived from the “Warrior Wing” introduced on the PA-28-161).

The Saratoga includes updated avionics, with two types of panels; standard "steam" gauges and glass cockpit for you to select in the simulator.
