Bendix King RadiosThe default radios from Microsoft, while being approximate imitations of their real-world counterparts in appearance, lack the same functionality and features such as memory storage, autopilot axis control, altitude alert functions, and more. The addition of these features will enhance the immersion factor for your virtual flights. The features and functionality of the radios mirror those of the actual avionics used in general aviation today. Each unit was designed according to its actual pilot handbook. The standard radios that come with Flight Simulator are made to simply resemble these radios in appearance, but function as the most simple Flight Simulator gauges. Rather than design these radios the "FS way", we made them work the real way. For example, pressing NAV 1 on the audio panel will not made the Ident knob on the Nav 1 radio move in and out. They will operate the way a real instrument panel operates. Unlike many add-on radios, the FlightSim Developers Bendix King Style Radios will fit 1/1 with the their default gauge counterparts, in both the 2D panel and virtual 3D cockpit. They are exactly the same height x width ratio, and the knobs will align perfectly with the 3D knobs in the VC. This seamless integration makes these radios an ideal choice for those who want to maximize the immersion factor in their virtual flights. A value added feature is the Control Center Utility. This allows you to easily add the avionics to your favorite Flight Simulator panels with relative ease. |
