Engine Instruments

1.  Torque

2. EGT

3.  Prop Rpm
4. Oil Pressure/Temperature

5. Fuel Flow

An expanded view of the engine instruments may be obtained during flight by left-clicking anywhere along the surface of the engine gauges.  An enlarged (140%) pop-up window will appear.  The panel may be undocked, moved or resized as you wish.

To close the expanded view, simply left-click again anywhere along the gauge surfaces, and normal view will be restored.

1.  Torque - Indicates shaft output torque in percent (100% torque at 1540 rpm equals 1000 shaft horsepower).

2. EGT - ( Exhaust Gas Temperature). Indicates temperature in the turbine exhaust pipe.

3. Prop RPM - Indicates engine rotational speed based on propeller RPM. 1540 propeller RPM = 100% rotation speed.

4.  Oil Pressure/Temperature

Normal pressure 35 - 70 PSI

Normal Temperature 55 - 110 oC

5.  Fuel Flow -

Normal max fuel flow is 619 lb/hr (total)

Cruise time and fuel may be calculated by the following formula:

Cruise Time = Cruise Distance/Cruise Speed

Example:

863.5/332 = 2.6 hours or 156 minutes

Cruise Fuel = Fuel Flow x Cruise Time

Example:

619 x 2.60 = 1609 lb
